I almost gave up on this denim jumpsuit that I made in the beginning of this summer. I combined two patterns from Burdastyle: one dress for the top and a wide legged jumpsuit for the trouser part. I adore a backless piece and really wanted to wear it during the hotter days but never actually got around to it. I was almost putting it away from the shelves for next summer when I realised it can still serve a purpose for this autumn with a bit of layering. I love the dark blue and mustard colour combination. I find the cut outs at the back and the turtleneck make the outfit really stylish.
I am not going to lie, the jumpsuit is a tiny bit time-consuming to make – at least not one of the usual quick pieces that I prefer. However, with a bit of patience and attention, it is really not that difficult and worth the effort. Let me know if you would like to see a step by step guide on how to make this jumpsuit.
